In this talk, it is going to be introduced to the research institute "Instituto Universitario de Microgravedad “Igancio Da Riva”" (IDR/UPM) at the Technical University of Madrid. The institute specializes in experimental aerodynamics and wind tunnel testing. It is going to discuss the institute's main activities, its primary areas of research, and the consulting and training services it provides.

报告人简介：

Juan A. Cárdenas-Rondón holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, serves as an teaching assistant at the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering in Madrid, and is a researcher at the IDR Institute. His research focuses on the experimental study of aeroelastic phenomena, particularly on self-excited behaviors driven by fluid-structure interactions. His doctoral thesis examined unsteady aerodynamics and the aeroelasticity of photovoltaic solar trackers, resulting in six presentations at international conferences and three high-impact journal articles on this topic. He has also published two scientific papers on statistical treatments of time-dependent pressure variations on bluff bodies, along with six international presentations related to wind tunnel testing.
